Our design team crafts an initial sample to reflect the desired aesthetic. We value your feedback during this iterative process – adjustments are made to the sample until it meets your vision. Sometimes, the first test sample may diverge from the original expectation but can end up being more appealing to you, resulting in an improved design direction.

Approval
& Cost Proposal

Once the final sample is approved, we present a formal cost proposal that includes panel quantities, sizes, and lead times for the project. This comprehensive proposal ensures transparency and feasibility, setting the stage for production.

The client sought to imitate a classic Italian plaster finish, renowned for luxurious soft lines and subtle movement of colour. The goal was to achieve the refined look of Venetian plaster without exceeding the project’s budget and reducing trade time on site.

MASTACLAD BESPOKETM SOLUTION

Inspired by the intricate craftsmanship of Italian plasterwork, we developed an artisan plaster finish that mirrors the subtle, elegant patterning of traditional Venetian plaster. Although the cost of authentic Venetian plaster was beyond the budget, we employed innovative application techniques to recreate its signature random-yet-refined texture on a smooth facade panel. This approach provided the client with a luxurious, high-end look at a more accessible cost, successfully capturing the beauty of Italian craftsmanship within project constraints.

Our client sought to recreate the timeless charm of a rusted corten finish for their project. The goal was to capture the rusted hues of corten steel that naturally develop over time, while retaining the richness of bronzed undertones.

We developed a custom coating to imitate the look of rusted corten without having to use an actual corten facade. The bold, metallic finish created the weathered corten steel look without the actual disadvantages of corten steel – like leeching, staining and high costs. With MASTACLAD Bespoke™ we were able to create a striking contrast against the building’s softer architectural elements, delivering the perfect balance of tradition and modernity.
